This recipe produces some delicious dough that can be shaped into hamburger buns, hotdog buns, hoagie buns or whatever. Not low-carb and not for everyday eating but sure beats store bought, garbage filled buns. Ingredients

2 Cups freshly ground organic, whole wheat flour
1 cup organic all-purpose flour
1/3 cup organic extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup organic honey
1 tsp salt
1 cup water
2 Tablespoons yeast
1 egg
Directions
Warm water to about 115-120
Dissolve yeast in water in large bowl
Add honey and oil to yeast to mixture and let sit for 5 minutes
Add egg and salt to mixture and stir briefly
Add flour slowly while mixing until soft dough is formed
Knead about three minutes
form into desired shape using about 3 oz of dough for each
bake 8-12 minutes in oven pre-heated to 425
Serving Size: makes 10 buns
