Ingredients

    20 C. Diced rhubarb
    4 Med Apples, diced and peeled if you like
    1 C. Sugar or substitute your choice of sweetener.

Tips

I started with frozen rhubarb leftover from last year's garden, so started out on a low fire until it had thawed. Then added chunks of apple to give it a bit of texture. Once it comes the apples are tender and smushy, it's done. If it turns out with too much liquid, just cook a bit longer to let it evaporate.


Directions

Clean and dice rhubarb and apples. Cook over medium heats with 1/2 cup water in large sauce pan until tender and saucy. Remove from heat, add sugar and stiff.
