Ingredients

corn oil
stick butter (Blue Bonnet Light)
f lour
sugar
cocoa
baking soda
salt
buttermilk
eggs
vanilla
powdered sugar
nuts optional
Directions
Start as read:
Boil: 1 stick butter 1/2 cup corn oil
1 cup water
in a sauce pan on the stove
Put these into a separte pan:
2 cups flour 2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cocoa 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Pour over flour mixture and add 1/2 cup buttermilk
add 2 eggs last. Then add 1 teaspoon vanilla Bake at 350* on a cookie sheet( 11*17 ) 18 to 20 minutes
let that bake and get the dry ingretants ready for the frosting
4 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cocoa
Melt 1 stick of butter in a pan and then add the 1/3 buttermilk
You mix all that together and add 1 teaspoon vanilla and you can your nuts if want to
Frost while the cake is still warm start in the middle and work your way out
