Ingredients

1 package of Angel Food Cake
1 can Crush Pinapple (preferred) or as in this recipe i used Pinapple Tidbits, the only ones available at the store that day!
1 package Frozen strawberries, thawed (fresh can be substitued, if you prefer)

Directions

If you are using the crushed pinapples, open can, and set aside. If using tidbits, open can, drain juice into a cup, and place pinapples into a blender or food processor to blend them down into a smaller size, will be similar to a puree.
Open Cake mix and empty into mixing bowl, add pinapple and juice, ** DO NOT ADD WATER AS DIRECTED ON PACKAGE, JUICE ACTS AS WATER**
Follow directions on package to mix and bake as you normally would.

Once cool. Add strawberries as desired.

*optional ideas*
I used the glaze they sell as well, and baked my cake in 2- 8 " round pans and placed the glaze between the 2 layers with strawberries in between and strawberries on top as well. I also mixed a small amout of butter cream icing with strawberries to ice the top, i didn't account for the "liquid" in the strawberries, so it was more like a glaze, but it was delicious.

The possibilities are ENDLESS, and DELICIOUS.
