Ingredients

    1 cup rice (long or medium grain)
    3 oz dry vermicelli noodles
    2 tbsp butter
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 28 oz can whole tomatoes
    1 large onion, chopped
    4 Jalapeno peppers, chopped
    1/2 yellow pepper, chopped
    1/2 red pepper, chopped
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    3 stalks celery, sliced thin
    1/2 cup chopped carrot
    5 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 can tomato soup
    3 tsp. oregano
    6 tsp. hot sauce
    3 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
    4 cups water

Directions

Fry ground beef, onions, peppers, celery, and carrot until done, Drain. Fry rice and vermicelli in large pot in melted butter until lightly browned. Add all remaining ingredients to the large pot including the ground beef mixture and spices. Bring to a boil over medium heat, cook 15 minutes until rice is cooked thru. Serve with hot sauce, parmesan cheese or cheddar cheese
