Ingredients

    Butter, salted, .5 cup
    Granulated Sugar, 1 cup
    Water, 1 cup

    FOR COBBLER:

    All purpose flour, 1.5 cup
    Salt, .25 tsp
    Baking Powder, 2.25 tsp
    Butter, .5 cup
    Milk, nonfat, .33 cup
    Red Tart Cherries in water, 1 can
    Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp
    Granulated Sugar, 3 tbsp

Directions

Melt 1/2 cup butter in 10 inch baking dish. Set aside.

Heat sugar and water until sugar melts. Set aside.

Make cobbler dough by cutting butter into flour until like fine crumbs. Add milk. Stir with fork until dough leaves side of bowl. Turn out on floured board. Knead 3-4 times. Roll to 11-inch 1/4 inch thick. Spsread cherries over dough. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Roll up like Jelly roll. Cut into 1-1/4 inch slices. Place in pan over butter. Pour sugar water over slices. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.

Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sugar.
