Introduction

Spread this on bread and eat it it with a nice red tomatoes and pepper salad.

Ingredients

    1/2 pound of tempeh (about 300 grams)
    1 tablespoon of ketchup
    1 tablespoon of miso
    1 teaspoon onion powder (or you can have real onions)
    1 clove of garlic (crushed please)
    1/2 teaspoon of fresh thyme
    1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes or you can chopped up some Jalapeno which we like to do.

Directions

Steam the tempeh for 20 minutes.

Put all the other ingredients in a good processer until smooth and it looks like it would spread (like smooth peanut butter).

    Delicious and the serving is huge. I definitely recommend it. It tastes a little bit like hummus. - 2/23/09
