Introduction

Ingredients

    238 grams Apples, fresh with skin
    247 grams Banana, fresh
    1 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
    .75 cup Milk, 2%, with added nonfat milk solids, without added vit A
    2 cup Flour, white
    .75 cup Granulated Sugar
    3 tsp Baking Powder
    .5 tsp Baking Soda
    .5 tsp Salt

Note Baking times will vary muffins vs a loaf


Directions

Preheat oven to 350 F - place muffin liners in muffin tins / grease loaf pan

Mix together WELL all 'wet ingredients' add mashed banana and cooled cooked apple

Mix together WELL all dry ingredients

Then add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix well.
Then spoon approx 1/8 cup of mixture into each muffin cup till 2/3 full.

Place in oven and bake Muffins for 15 minutes - test with tooth pick, bake addition 10 minutes if not done - should be nice golden color - for a loaf bake 45 minutes and test with a toothpick - may need additional 10-15 minutes.

Cool for 5-10 Minutes before serving - or with loaf - run knife around side to loosen from pan.


Serving Size: 1 Med.Muffin Size (approx. 1/8th C mixture in each cup)
