Ingredients

    2 Sahara 100% wholewheat mini pitas
    1 apple cored and chopped*
    1 t. raisins or other dried fruit
    1 t. ground cinnamon (sprinkle generously)
    1 t. butter flavored spread
    1 T walnuts chopped coarsely
    2 sprays butter flavored Pam

    +If using Granny Smith, add a little Splenda or 1 t. real brown sugar.

Directions

Wash, core and chop apple
add nuts and raisins
sprinkle with cinnamon
Spray nonstick pan with butter-flavored Pam
Heat pan, melt butter spread and add all ingredients except pitas

Saute ingredients about 5 minutes on medium flame covered. Stir occasionally.

Heat individual pita in microwave about 15 seconds until it just "puffs up." Split pita with scissors and fill with l/2 of warm "pie" ingredients.

Delicious, healthy and very satisfying!
Makes 2 nice fat "pies"
