Quick and easy dinner! Quick and easy dinner!Number of Servings: 4
Ingredients
-
12 perogies
2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 cup sliced onions
1 can of crushed tomatoes
1 tsp Marjoram
1/2 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper, black
1 tbsp Parmesan cheese (optional)
Tips
You can use any kind of perogies! For this meal I enjoy using the cheese perogies as it is a nice compliment to the sauce.
Directions
1. Heat olive oil in large skillet.
2. Add sliced onion. Cook over high heat until starting to brown, about 5 minutes.
3. Add crushed tomatoes, marjoram, oregano, salt, and pepper and reduce heat to medium.
4. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes.
5. Add perogies to the sauce and reduce heat to low. Cook, stirring once or twice, until perogies are cooked through (4 minutes for fresh; 10 minutes for frozen).
6. Serve. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
