Introduction

A great sauce for chicken, pork veal or fish. A great sauce for chicken, pork veal or fish.

Ingredients

    1 t Olive Oil
    1 t Butter, salted
    3 cloves Garlic, minced
    0.5 cup Onions, chopped
    Juice of 2 lemons
    4 basil leaves, julienned
    1 T capers
    0.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
    0.25 cup 1% Milk

Directions

Over medium heat in the pan you sauteed your protein, add olive oil, onions and garlic. De-glaze pan and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add lemon juice and water. Continue de-glazing.

Add capers. Bring to boil, adding water if the sauce gets too thick.

When the onions and garlic are cooked, remove from hear and add milk and butter. Stir until butter melts.

Serve over chicken, pork veal or fish.

Serving Size: Makes sauce for 4.
