Number of Servings: 54

Ingredients

    1 cup Shortening
    .75 cup Granulated Sugar (3/4 cup)
    .75 cup, packed Brown Sugar (3/4 cup)
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract
    2 serving Egg - Large (2 eggs)
    2.25 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour (2 1/4 cup flour)
    1 tsp Baking Soda
    1 tsp Salt
    24 tbsp Chocolate, Nestle Real Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (1 bag of chocolate chips)

Tips

i always put the cookie sheet over the sink, so any crumbs can fall into the sink and make clean up pretty easy.
if you are using a pampered chef stone, the 1st batch will take about 14 min, and all batches after will take about 10


Directions

preheat oven to 350 degrees
beat the shortening, both sugars, vanilla and 2 eggs till creamy, then mix in the flour, baking soda, salt and the whole bag of chocolate chips.
drop by spoonfuls (i use a medium pampered chef scoop) onto a ungreased cookie sheet
bake at 350 degrees for about 10 or so minutes


Serving Size: makes about 54 two inch cookies
