Ingredients

    1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    4 tsp Ginger Root, grated
    3 cloves Garlic, crushed
    1/2 tsp Chili paste (Sambal Olek)
    1 lb Pork loin, diced
    1 large Onion
    4 stalks celery
    2 Leeks
    3 large Carrots
    6 cups chopped Cabbage
    2 1tsp Sesame Oil
    1 tbsp Ketjap Manis Indonesian Soy Sauce
    340 grams Egg Noodles
    45 grams Conimex Mix
    1 tsp Turmeric, ground
    1 tsp Cumin, ground
    1 tsp Coriander, ground

Tips

You can add some fried egg, crispy fried onions, Kroupouc, or Ketjap Manis when serving.


Directions

Cook the noodles according to package directions.
Re-hydrate the seasoning mix in 100 ML of boiled water, and let stand for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a large frying pan, add the olive oil, ginger, garlic and chili paste, and saute for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
Add the diced pork and stir fry until browned, about 5 minutes.
Drizzle the sesame oil over top.
Add the celery and onion, stir fry for 2-4 minutes.
Add the carrots and leeks, stir fry for 2-4 minutes.
Add the cabbage, stir fry for 4-5 minutes.
Add the Ketjap Manis (or soy sauce), rehydrated seasoning mix, and spices.
Mix in the noodles.
Season with extra Chili paste to taste.
