Ingredients

3 medium tart Apples, cut into small pieces
    1 cup Blackberries
6 Strawberries, cut into small pieces
    2T unpacked Brown Sugar
1 T Potato, tapioca or Corn Starch

    1/2 C Oats
    1/2 C Flour, white
    1 stick Butter, softened
    1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology (optional)
    1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. Nutmeg

Tips

You can easily make this fewer calories and less fat by cutting the crumble topping part of the recipe in half. When I made this, there was almost too much topping.

Directions

Preheat oven to 350.

Combine apples, berries, 2T brown sugar, and starch in mixing bowl. Stir to coat. Let stand.

While fruit is macerating (releasing its juices), soften the butter and combine it with the remaining ingredients to form almost a dough. This is best done with your hands because you can really feel to make sure any clumps of sugar are gone, and that everything is combines well.

Place berries in bottom of greased pie dish; top with oat mixture. The topping is not supposed to be a solid layer, so just drop small pieces around the top.

Bake for 20 minutes, or until topping is golden.

Let stand 15 minutes before serving. For an even more yummy treat, top with whipped cream :)
