6 slices (1" dia) Ginger Root
1 tsp Turmeric, ground
1 tsp Cumin seed
1 tsp Curry powder
2 tbsp Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil
1/2 tsp salt

heat a wok
add oil
bloom spices in slightly-heated oil
add onions; fry till wilted and brown
