Introduction

This is a creamy dressed southwestern slaw without all the empty fat found in mayonnaise based dressings. This is a creamy dressed southwestern slaw without all the empty fat found in mayonnaise based dressings.

Ingredients

    1 head, medium Cabbage, shredded
    1/4 Cup Cilantro, finely chopped
    1/2 cup, chopped Scallions, finely chopped
    2 Tablespoons Lime Juice
    1/4 cup Yogurt Plain Greek Yogurt, non-fat
    1 Avocados, California, diced
    2 Tablespoons Low Fat Milk

Directions

Shred cabbage and finely chop the onions, and cilantro. Squeeze 2 T lime juice. Peel and cut avocado into small cubes. In a blender or food processor cream the avocado, juice, milk, and Greek yogurt. Mix into slaw. Add salt and pepper to taste. We like to add a little garlic powder, a dash of hot sauce and sometimes cumin but those are optional and to your taste.
