Ingredients

0.50 tsp Allspice
2 tsp Chili powder
1 tsp Cumin seed
2 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Onion powder
2 tsp Paprika
1 tbsp Pepper, black
1 tsp Pepper, red or cayenne
1 tbsp Basil
8 oz Ground beef
0.25 cup Honey
1 cup, packed Brown Sugar
12 tsp McCormick GrillMates Montreal Steak Seasoning
3 tsp Colgin Liquid Smoke
16 tsp Raw Sugar - Sugar in the Raw
16 oz Ground Pork Sausage, Lean cooked, drained
4 cup Beans, pinto
Tips
Measure out dry spices, cut vegetables and cook meat while beans are soaking. That way everything is ready to add in the morning.
Directions
Rinse and soak beans (overnight)
Drain beans and add to slow cooker. Add 8 cups of chicken broth. Turn slow cooker on to high setting. Stir in ground beef and pork. Stir in spices, liquid smoke and honey. Dice jalapenos and add to slow cooker. Cook for 8 hours.
Cut bell peppers and onions into medium sized chunks. Add to slow cooker and cook 1 more hour.
Serve as side dish or over rice.
