Ingredients

1 pound bacon
2 cups chopped onions
1 15-oz can black beans, drained & rinsed
1 15-oz can red kidney beans, drained & rinsed
1 15 oz-can great northern beans, drained & rinsed
1 15-oz can pinto beans, drained & rinsed
1 4-oz can chopped green chile peppers, drained & rinsed
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup catsup
Directions
Chop bacon and onions. Saute bacon and onions over medium heat in a heavy skillet, until bacon crisps and onions are somewhat transparent.
Meanwhile, drain and rinse beans and chile peppers and mix them together in a slow cooker. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, cider vinegar and catsup.
Add bacon and onion mixture to slow cooker and stir thoroughly. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, stirring occasionally to distribute flavors.
Makes approximately 24 1/2 cup servings.
