Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

3 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Banana, fresh
1 cup Whole Wheat Flour (I use white wheat flour)
    1 tsp Baking Soda
    0.5 tsp Baking Powder
    1 pinch of Salt
    5 tbsp Canola Oil
    0.5 cup, packed Brown Sugar
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
16 tbsp Chocolate chips, Hershey's milk chocolate

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 8.5 X 4.5" loaf pan with nonstick spray. In a large bowl use a hand mixer to mix the oil and brown sugar until sugar is dissolved. Beat in egg and vanilla. Mash bananas with a fork and beat in with oil, sugar, egg and vanilla mixture. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add dry to wet and mix until just incorporated. Fold in most of the chocolate chips, reserving a small handful. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top. Bake for 45 minutes to 55 minutes - until tester comes out clean/dry. Allow bread to cool 15 minutes- then it will slip right out of the pan. Serving Size: 12 slices
