Introduction

Black eyed peas and rice Black eyed peas and rice
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 1/2 cup short rain rice
    1/2 tsp. powdered thyme
    salt and pepper (to taste)
    1 cup cooked blackeyed peas
    1 (14 oz.) can diced tomatoes
    12 frozen meatballs (quartered)
    2 tbsp. margerine
    3 cups water

Directions

Heat water.
Heat meatballs and cut into quarters.
Add all remaining ingredients including meatballs to the proper amount of boiling water.
Cook for 20 minutes.
