Ingredients

    567.0 gram(s) potatoes-Simply Potatoes Hash browns
    4.0 cup (8 fl oz) Chicken Broth or Bouillon
    0.5 cup, chopped Carrots, raw
    7.0 medium slices, cooked (raw product packed 20/lb) Bacon, pork, microwaved
    0.25 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    0.19 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour
    1.0 cup, whipped Heavy Whipping Cream
    2.0 cup, shredded Cheddar Cheese
    1.0 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
    1.0 tsp Salt
    1.0 tsp Pepper, black
    2.0 clove Garlic

Directions

1. Into a 4-5qt crockpot, add in potatoes, carrots, bacon, broth, water, onion, garlic, salt and pepper 2. Cook on HIGH 3 hours. or LOW for 6 hours 3. Once cooking time is done, whisk flour and cream together until smooth. Add to slow cooker. 4. Cover and cook on LOW for 30 minutes. Add cheese and stir until cheese is melted. 5. Serve hot with cheese, sour cream, bacon and green onions.

    This is such a great recipe. So easy using frozen hash browns and for a change a recipe without peppers. Works equally well with condensed milk , turkey bacon and low sodium broth. - 9/27/18
