Ingredients

    1/2 cup rolled oats
    1/4 cup nutritional yeast
    2 T cornstarch
    1 roasted red bell pepper
    1/2 onion (yellow preferred)
    2 cups water
    2 t lemon juice
    1 t salt

Tips

I use this on baked potatoes, beans and rice or add salsa and make a queso dip. Also great on burritos, tostadas, veggie dogs etc..


Directions

place all ingredients in a blender, I use Vitamix and process for several minutes. I blend dry ingredients first and then add wet ingredients. Pour into saucepan and cook for about 5 minutes, whisking constantly. This recipe is based off a recipe on Youtube by Jill McKeever
