Introduction

I wanted something like a frostie, but with more nutrients and supplements. This is great for days I have trouble getting enough calories in. I wanted something like a frostie, but with more nutrients and supplements. This is great for days I have trouble getting enough calories in.

Ingredients

    100 mL Heavy Whipping Cream
    50 mL Half and Half
    1 large Egg
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract
    1 Tbs Cacao Powder
    3 tsp Maple Sugar
    3 tsp Swerve Granulated
    1 pinch Kosher Salt
    1 Tbs Collagen Peptides

Tips

You can change the flavor profile on this by swapping out the vanilla for mint extract or cinnamon.

Directions

Blend all ingredients together in a blender, except collagen. Add the collagen and pulse gently for ten seconds. Pour mixture into an ice cream maker or slushie cup and process per instructions for about ten minutes, or until desired consitency is achieved. I use a Zoku slushie/milkshake cup.

If you do not have a freezing device, you can make this in the freezer, but it will take much longer. Pour into a cup and place in the freezer. Stir every thirty minutes until dezired consistency is achieved.
