Ingredients

    1 10 oz package frozen spinach, thawed
    7 oz chicken broth
    1 can crabmeat, drained
    2 tbsp margarine
    1/2 c chopped onion
    2 tbsp chopped celery
    2 tbsp chopped green bell pepper
    1 tbsp flour
    12 oz evaporated skim milk
    1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp black pepper
    1/8 tsp dried basil
    1/8 tsp dried thyme

Directions

Process spinach and chicken broth until smooth.

Melt butter in a sauce pan over medium heat; add onion, celery and bell pepper, and saute until soft. Add flour and cook 1 minute until smooth, stirring constantly.

Gradually stir in milk and cook stirring constantly for 10 minutes. Stir in spinach mixture, worcestershire sauce and seasonings. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often. Stir in crabmeat and cook until heated. Do not boil.
