Introduction
Sauce from pure scratch! Sauce from pure scratch!Number of Servings: 60
Ingredients

36 Italian tomato Red Ripe Tomatoes
.5 cup, chopped Onions, raw
4 tbsp Basil
10 cloves Garlic
5 tbsp Oregano, ground
1.5 tbsp Pepper, black
2 can (6 oz) Tomato Paste
Directions
One large pot needed
Cut tomatoes in half, add to pot
Cut onion into chunks add to pot
Dice Garlic into small chunks add to pot
Chop Basil into 1/2" pieces add to pot
Add 3 Tbsp of Oregano, and 1 tbsp of black pepper
Bring to low boil stirring occasionally
Reduce heat to low cover and cook for 3-4 hours stirring occasionally
Take off heat and set pot aside to cool. (roughly same temp as warm water)
Scoop into blender and lightly blend for a few seconds to reduce tomatoes to liquid
Pour into smaller pot, add rest of seasonings
Stir in tomato paste as needed to thicken sauce to desired level.
Bring to light boil, and prep canning jars
Fill jars allow for heat to seal jar, store in fridge until cooled then put in freezer or use!
