Ingredients

    0.25 cup Butter, salted
    0.50 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
    1 cup Half and Half Cream
    0.50 tsp Garlic powder
    0.25 tsp Pepper, black
    1 dash Pepper, black
    0.50 tsp Salt
    1 dash Salt
    2 tbsp Olive Oil
    0.50 cup (8 fl oz) Chicken Broth
    1 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms, fresh
    1 cup Spinach, fresh
    0.13 cup Flour, white
    6 gram(s) Fresh Garlic (1 clove = 3g)
    24 oz Pork, fresh, loin, center rib (chops), boneless, separable lean and fat, cooked, pan-fried

Tips

Use chicken or pork chops


Directions

1. In a large skillet add olive oil and cook the chicken/pork chop on medium high heat for 3-5 minutes on each side or until brown on each side and cooked until no longer pink in centre. Remove chicken and set aside on a plate. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for a few minutes until tender. Remove and set aside.

2. To make the sauce add the butter and melt. Add garlic and cook until tender. Whisk in the flour until it thickens. Whisk in chicken broth, heavy cream, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, pepper and salt. Add the spinach and let simmer until it starts to thicken and spinach wilts. Add the chicken and mushrooms back to the sauce and serve over pasta or rice.
