Ingredients

    2 cup Beef stock, home-prepared
    2.5 tbsp Soy Sauce
    .5 tsp Poultry seasoning
    1 dash Pepper, black
    2 tbsp Cornstarch, dissolved in 3 tbsp water
    .25 cup Dairy, Milk - Whole

Tips

Can add more salt or pepper if wanted. Good for everything from thanksgiving turkey to roasted onions and potatoes.


Directions

In saucepan, combine stock, soy sauce, poultry seasoning, and pepper to taste. Bring to boil over high heat.

Once boiling, reduce heat to low, whisk in cornstarch slurry, and bring back to boil, whisking, until sauce thickens, about 1 minute. It it doesn't thicken, add 2 tbsp more cornstarch mixed with 3 tbsp water.

Lower temperature, slowly stir in milk. Do not boil. Adjust seasonings to taste, serve hot.

Serving Size: makes 2.5 cups
