Ingredients

    1 can (385 ml) evaporated milk
    1 cup strong coffee
    2/3 cup granulated sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 eggs

Directions

makes 10 little ramekins

1. Combine evaporated milk and coffee in
saucepan
2. Heat until small bubbles form on edge of pan
3. Stir in granulated sugar, vanilla, and salt
4. Beat eggs well in large bowl
5. Gradually stir hot milk mixture into eggs
6. Pour into little ramekins
7. Place them in a pan of hot water about 1" deep
8. Bake at 300 F for 50 to 60 minutes, until knife
inserted in center comes out clean
9. Chill until cooled
