Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    5 cups shredded cabbage
    20 oz Ground beef, extra lean (15% fat)
    1 cup chopped or sliced Onions, raw
    0.5 tsp Ginger Paste
    5 cloves garlic
    1 Tbsp ghee or olive oil
    Salt and pepper
    1 tsp apple cider vinegar
    1 tbsp soy sauce, coconut aminos or tamari
    1/4 tsp Stevia
    Crushed red peppers if desired




Directions

Place half the Tbsp of oil on a large pan and brown the hamburger along with the minced garlic, ginger paste, and salt and pepper to taste. Remove cooked meat from the pan. Put the rest of the oil in the pan and Sauté the onions until transparent or even slightly carmelized. Add the cabbage, aminos or soy sauce, stevia and crushed red peppers if using. Cook and stir until cabbage begins to brown. Add hamburger back in, cook and stir a few more minutes. Adjust seasonings if needed.

Serving Size: Makes about 6 1-cup servings

    I make this more keto friendly . Ground beef 3oz, cabbage 1.33 cups, sesame oil 1 tbs, salt and sriracha 1tsp per serving. - 2/28/18
