Ingredients

    0.33 cup Butter, salted
    1.0 cup Ricotta Cheese, whole milk
    0.5 tsp Cinnamon, ground
    0.5 tsp Nutmeg, ground
    1.0 tbsp Honey
    0.5 cup, unpacked Brown Sugar
    0.42 Grams Hamburger
    8.0 tsp CHEESE - Parmensan Cheese (Jewel)
    4.0 serving Baked Acron Squash, 1/2 of squash

Directions

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Cut acorn squashes in half and remove seeds. Drizzle the olive oil inside the squash to help prevent burning. Place upside down on a cooking sheet cover with parchment paper. Bake for 30 minutes. While they are baking brown the hamburger or sausage just before the end of browning add honey. Drain off grease. Add the ricotta to the meat. In a microwave safe bowl put butter with 2 Tbsp of brown sugar put in microwave and melt . Set aside. Add to the meat the parmensan cheese (minus 2 Tbs) . Slow simmer. When squash is done turn over then drizzle the butter/ brown sugar mixture in the center of each squash. Divide the mixture evenly in the squash . Sprinkle cinnamon, nutmeg and rest a of parmensan on the top. Place back in oven and bake for another 30 minutes. Serving Size: 4 1/2 acorn squash
