Ingredients

    3 serving Poblano Pepper, Raw (1 Pepper) (by NEVERNAKED)
    32 oz Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean
    2 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    4 cup Tomato Sauce
    0.5 cup Tomato Paste
    1 tbsp Paprika
    8 tbsp Chili powder
    1 tbsp Cumin seed
    2 cup kernels Yellow Sweet Corn, Frozen
    1 cup Beans, great northern
    1 cup Beans, black
    1 cup Beans, red kidney
    6 cup 365 Organic Diced Tomatoes
    2 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
    2 tbsp Coconut Oil - Nutiva Organic Extra-Virgin Coconut Oil

Tips

When you clean the poblano peppers and remove all the seeds wear rubber gloves and avoid breathing in fumes from the seeds.


Directions

In large soup pot brown ground turkey in coconut oil. Do not drain. Add poblano peppers chopped with seeds removed, 2 chopped yellow onions, 4 - 15 oz. cans of tomato sauce, 2 large cans of diced tomatoes, a whole jar of chili powder, 1 tbsp. of hot Hungarian paprika, 1 tbsp. of ground cumin, 2 cups of water, 1 small can of tomato paste. Simmer for 2-3 hours. Add 1 small can of northern beans, 1 small can of black beans and 1 small can of kidney beans. Add frozen corn. Heat to boiling then remove from heat. Serve with a dollop of sour cream or grated cheddar and chopped cilantro.
