Ingredients

    .5 cup, cubes Butternut Squash (steamed)
    .5 cup Sweet potato, cooked, baked in skin, without salt
    3 oz Florida's Natural, orange juice, original premium, not from concentrate, no pulp, pasteurized
    .75 cup Fresh Made Organic Kefir - Plain
    1 small (6" to 6-7/8" long) Banana, fresh
    1 tbsp Flax Seed, Cold Milled Golden Flax Seed by Flax USA
    .25 tsp Cinnamon, ground
    1 tsp Ginger Root

Tips

Note: This prep time does not include cooking the vegetables which are prepared in advance and frozen.


Directions

Put all ingredients in blender. Add 2 ice cubes. Blend until smooth
NOTE: The veggies are prepared in advance and frozen. I add them to the blender frozen when preparing the recipe.

Serving Size: Makes 1 approximately 16 oz smoothie
