Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

0.6 cup of cooked, short grain white rice (could be substituted for brown)
    1 cup of chopped cabbage
    2 medium eggs, beaten
    0.5 cup of milk
    1 tbsp soy sauce
    1 tsp cracked black pepper

Directions

Once the rice is cooked, move it off the heat but keep it covered to retain heat and some moisture.
In a non-stick pan over a medium heat add the eggs, milk and soy sauce and stir continuously until cooked. Keep this covered too.
Next, take your cabbage. You can either cook this in the microwave briefly or boil or steam it, whatever your preference.
Heat another pan and add the veggie mince, cook until dark brown all over, season with pepper.
Finally, assemble your ingredients. Firstly put half the rice into each bowl. Then arrange the other items over the top as you like. I like them arranged in thick stripes over the rice.

Is there anything you can substitute the cabbage for? I really don't like cabbage, but everything else in this recipe sounds delicious. Maybe it's a stupid question but I am incredibly UN-innovative when it comes to recipes. I need someone to walk me through things.. - 7/5/09
