-
1 # loaf of sliced white bread, cut into triangles
8 eggs
2 1/2 cups Milk
4 tbsp salted Butter, melted
1/4 cup, unsifted Powdered Sugar
1 cup, frozen thawed Strawberries, unsweetened
2 cup, frozen thawed Blueberries, unsweetened
1 tbsp Cinnamon, ground
Tips
Make the night before and refrigerate overnight for a bread-pudding-like consistency.
Directions
Mix eggs and milk together.
Spray the bottom of a deep baking dish with non-stick spray.
Dip 1/3 of the bread in the egg & milk mixture, and place in an even layer on the bottom of the dish.
Spread half the fruit, half the melted butter, and half the powdered sugar on the bread.
Dip and layer another 1/3 of the bread.
Spread the other half of the fruit, butter, and sugar. Sprinkle liberally with cinnamon.
Dip and layer the final 1/3 of the bread on the top. Throw whatever's left of the butter and sugar and cinnamon over this layer.
