Introduction

A wonderful crockpot dish that goes together fast and comes out tasty! A wonderful crockpot dish that goes together fast and comes out tasty!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    3lb pork loin
5 small apples, peeled and sliced
    4 cloves garlic
    1.5 large onions, sliced
    2 cups chicken broth
10 oz white wine (pinot grigio is good)
    salt and pepper to taste

Tips

I serve this with rice, but it goes equally well with a salad, couscous, or barley. Any green vegetable can be served with it, but it really needs the color of a deep green *something*.

Directions

In your crock pot, dice half an onion and place it in the bottom. Put the pork loin roast on top, fat up. Add the remaining ingredients, and top up with enough water to *just* cover the pork. The apples do not need to be covered.

Cook on high for 4 to 5 hours, or low for 8 hours. Serve with green peas and rice!
