Ingredients
-
11 oz Philadelphia Cream Cheese
1 tsp Pink Himalayan Salt - 1 tsp (by FREEME1980)
5.3 tbsp Now Psyllium Husk Powder
8 serving Golden Hen Eggs Aldi (by E17737)
Tips
I also use this recipe to replace "egg noodles" for things like beef stroganoff. My hubby is Italian and says there is NO DIFFERENCE when I make lasagna using this. He also says it is just fine with the stroganoff. He is not a "keto" eater. lol When I use them as noodles once they are baked I roll them up and cut in strips that way. I have made them as thin as 1/2" and as wide as 2" - depending on the dish. He says the consistency compared to noodles is different but he does not mind it.
Directions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Combine eggs, softened cream cheese and salt. I use whisk attachment and beat to a smooth batter. Then on low speed continue to whisk while adding psyllium husk powder. Line a 13" x 18" baking sheet with parchment. Pour half the batter on and top with another sheet of parchment. Use rolling pin to level out the "dough". (If you want thicker (it will be THICK - probably close to twice as thick as a regular lasagna noodle) use entire batch on one sheet. Parchment cannot be removed from top. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes Cool then remove the paper.
