Ingredients

    8 oz Garofalo's Organic Whole Wheat Spaghetti (1 serving = 2 oz = .8 cups)
4 serving Sea Queen Seafood Mix (by BSHEFFER1)
    6 oz Barefoot Pinot Grigio
    2 tbsp Butter, salted
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
0.5 cup Red Onion Raw (1/4 cup, 40g or 1.4oz)
    2 clove Garlic
    6 leaves Basil
    0.25 tsp Cayenne Pepper (Ground)
    .25 tsp Salt

Tips

Make sure to let the wine reduce down before adding the seafood. The seafood does not take very long to cook. Serve with a dash of parmesan on top if you like.

Directions

Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions. While it is cooking, chop the red onion and sautee it in the butter and olive oil until it softens. Toss in the garlic cloves and soften them, too. Then, pour in the wine and let it reduce by 1/3. Next, add the basil, cayenne, and salt. Finally, add the seafood mix and cook until the shrimp turn pink. Mix the pasta mixture together with the drained noodles and serve.
