Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 small onions
    1.5 lb center-cut pork loin
    black pepper to taste
    2 tsp instant beef bouillon powder
    1 cup hot water
    2T dry mustard powder
    3T white cooking wine
    1T lemon juice

Tips

Consider garnishing with fresh parsley sprigs before serving.


Directions

Cut off ends of onions. Peel onions.

Cut onions in half crosswise to make 4 wheels. Place onion wheels at the bottom of the slow cooker.

Sear both sides of the pork in skillet over medium-high heat.

Place pork in slow cooker on top of onion wheels.

Sprinkle pork with pepper to taste.

Dissolve bouillon in hot water.

Stir mustard, white wine, and lemon juice into bouillon water.

Pour mixture into slow cooker.

Cover.

Cook on high 3-4 hours.
