Introduction

A really simple and tasty pie, delicious hot or chilled as directed. May sustitute peanut butter chips for chocolate or leave off all together. A really simple and tasty pie, delicious hot or chilled as directed. May sustitute peanut butter chips for chocolate or leave off all together.

Ingredients

    Brown Sugar, 1 cup, packed
    *Heart Smart Bisquick (mix only), 1/2 cup
    2 large eggs
    Heavy Whipping Cream, 1 cup, fluid
    Peanut Butter, smooth or chunky style, 2/3 cup
    Semisweet chocolate, 1 cup chips (6 oz package)

Directions

1) Heat oven to 350.

2) Beat all ingredients except chococlate chips in large bowl on high speed, occasionally scraping bowl until fluffy, one minute (do not use blender).

3) Pour into ungreased pie plate (9x1 1/4). Bake until puffed and dry in center, when knife inserted in center comes out clean (about 35 minutes).

4) Heat chocolate chips in one quart sauce pan over low heatr until melted.

*) Refrigerate until chocolate is firm (about one hour)

    I agree with MountainBiker1, part of being on this site is to help each other with moderation. If I want a sweet, I will have a sweet. Depriving myself will only make me want it more. I am going to try this recipe and of course, have a small "piece of the pie". Thank you! - 7/7/09

    You have to use alot of willpower with this one if you like peanut butter and chocolate, lol
