Introduction

A slighty chunky applesauce lightly sweetened with natural fruit juices. Great with pork chops or on oatmeal. A slighty chunky applesauce lightly sweetened with natural fruit juices. Great with pork chops or on oatmeal.

Ingredients

    5 apples, peeled, small size
    .66 cup Pineapple Juice
    1 tbsp Cinnamon, ground
    1 tsp Lime Juice - ReaLime 100% Lime Juice

Directions

1. Peel and core 5 small or 4 medium apples (Gala, Pink Lady, or similar)

2. Slice apples into small dice-sized pieces

3. Put prepared apples in a small sauce pan with the the fruit juices and cinnamon.

4. Cook over low heat until apples start to fall apart. Remove from heat.

5. Using a hand held potato masher or a fork, mash the sauce, getting rid of any large chunks of apple.

6. Allow sauce to cool, then place in a jar or other container and refrigerate. Will last about a week in a cold fridge.
