Ingredients

1lb Ground beef, lean
4oz Bacon (Oscar Meyer, Center Cut)
1 small Onion chopped
0.5 cup, minced Carrots
0.5 cup, minced Celery
2 28 oz Cans Crushed Tomatoes
.25 cup White Wine
0.5 cup Half and Half Cream
Directions
In a large saute pan cook chopped bacon until fat has melted over medium low heat.
Add onion, celery, & carrots & cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Change heat to medium high. Add beef & salt & pepper. Brown the beef.
Add wine & reduce, about 4 minutes.
Add tomatoes & simmer for 2 hours. (I transferred to crock pot, or you could cook the whole thing in the InstaPot).
Prior to serving, add half & half & summery for a few more minutes.
