Introduction

Delicious and Nutritious, and good for those who don't like fish taste. Can also use Black Beans or Chickpeas. Very high in protein (11 grams per pattie!) Ingredients

    1.0 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
    2.0 tsp Chili powder
    2.0 tsp Onion powder
    1.0 dash Salt
    1.0 can Tuna, Canned in Water, drained
    2.0 cup Goya Dark Red Kidney Beans
    0.5 serving cumin powder

Directions

- Drain and rinse beans. Mash in a large bowl with fork. - Drain and rinse canned tuna, and add to beans. - Combine 2 tsp of chili powder and onion powder, dash of salt and 1/2 tbsp of cumin, or more to your liking, and add into mixture. - Beat an egg lightly and add. - Refrigerate for at least an hour to make handling easier, and let spices combine with mixture. - Preheat frying pan to medium high heat and spray with cooking spray. - Take mixture and measure about 1/2 cup and form into discs. - Add 3 at a time and cook for about 5 minutes on each side or until they turn a golden brown. - Place patties on place to cool. - Enjoy! Good on rice, or cold in salad with poppy seed dressing. Serving Size: Makes 6 Patties, 1/2 cup each
