Introduction

Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    125 grams Butter, unsalted
    2 tbsp Golden Syrup
    1 tsp Baking Soda
    1 Tbsp Hot Water, tap
    1/2 cup, shredded Coconut, raw
    1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
    1 cup Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
    3/4 cup Flour, white

Directions

Melt butter and golden syrup together (in microwavable jug). Stir til butter and syrup have blended. Let cool slightly.
Dissolve baking soda in water and add to the buttery syrup mixture.
Also add in coconut, sugar, rolled oats and flour. Mix well.
Place rounded teaspoonful of mixture on a greased oven tray, allowing room for spreading.

Bake at 180C for 15 minutes or until golden.
