Ingredients

    6 med (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) Potatoes
    1/4 cup Milk, 1%
    4 tbsp Butter, unsalted
    salt to taste

Tips

You can use reserved steam water instead of milk and cut down on the butter to shave calories.


Directions

Peel potatoes. Place on insert to lift off base of container. Steam in Instant Pot with 2 cups water for 12 min. Quick steam release. Remove from pot carefully, place into bowl to mash. Add butter all at once and begin mashing to incorporate. Add milk a little at a time till you have the consistency you want.
