Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
1 tsp Dijon Mustard (Great Value)
1 tbsp Maple Grove Farms 100% Pure Maple Syrup (Real Maple)
    .5 tsp Salt
    .25 tsp Pepper, black
12 oz Brussels sprouts, fresh (about 3 cups) Thin Slices
4 tbsp chopped Shallots (1 med Shallot- thinly sliced)
0.25 cup Cranberries, dried, sweetened (craisins)
    .25 cup, chopped Pecans
4 tbsp Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled (by MALALA09)
1 pear, medium (approx 2-1/2 per Pears, fresh

Tips

This makes a big bowl of salad. It is a nice change in a salad.
The brussels sprouts need to be fresh. Remove outer leaves and hard core.

I would use more Gorgonzola cheese--a couple Tablespoons.

Directions

Whisk together: olive oil, vinegar, maple syrup & mustard in a medium bowl until well combined. Season with salt & pepper.

Thinly slice brussels sprouts discarding core. Toss sprouts together with thinly sliced medium shallot (about 1/4), dried cranberries, roughly chopped pecans, Gorgonzola (blue cheese) cheese & chopped pear in a medium serving bowl.

Pour dressing over salad and gently toss to combine.

Serving Size: 8- 1/2 cup servings

    Good
I made this for the fam yesterday but used a whole pound of sprouts. It was nice and tasty butnot enough flavor so I made more dressing and it was a lot better. Will make again with the right proportions. - 4/29/21
