Introduction

A special treat to make in the winter when it is snowing! This is another one of the depression era recipes from my "Fabulously Frugal" cookbook. Low a cost and fun treat for times when cash is tight. A special treat to make in the winter when it is snowing! Ingredients

    2 eggs beaten
    6 tablespoons sugar
    1 1/2 an fat free evaporated milk
    1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions

In a large bowl, add sugar to the beaten eggs, and mix until blended well. Add evaporated milk, and the vanilla. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until slightly thickened. Chill in the freezer until very cold, but not frozen. Then put on your boots grab a large roaster pan and large spoon and fill pan with clean fresh snow. As soon as you get in, start mixing the snow to the cooled mixture until it is thick, Get more snow and add until it is the desired consistency you want, then enjoy
