This is a mix of a lower calorie and lower carb solution as we change our dietary needs. This can be served on a flour tortilla, chips or even over a lettuce leaf or salad. Ingredients

    1 tbsp Chili powder
    0.50 lime yields Lime Juice
    3 clove Garlic
    0.50 cup, strips Green Peppers
    3 oz Pepper Jack Cheese, Dutch Farms
    6 tbsp Chi Chi's Hot Salsa
    1/2 of a can of strained and rinsed canned beans
    8 oz 85% Lean Ground Beef
    .5 cup, chopped Onions, raw

Tips

Saute, add seasoning, mix, serve


Directions

Saute' the meat, leave some grease in the pan an saute' the onions, peppers and garlic. Add the beans, lime juice and chili powder.

(in a pinch, you can just use homemade or package taco powder)

Serve the mixture over your favorite taco, chips, salad and top with the 1 oz of cheese and 1 tbl of Salsa per person.
