Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 pkg pre-made homestyle pie crust (2 sheets of pie dough)
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1.0 large Egg white, fresh
    Granulated Sugar for dusting

Directions

Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease Muffin tin. Cut the pie dough into 12 3&1/2 to 4 inch circles. Save remaining pie dough for lattice on top. Place pie circles into the muffin tin, push down and up the sides. If you make it to think the filling will fall out the sides. Fill the pies with the cherry pie filling 2/3 of the way up. Place lattice on top. Brush with slightly beaten egg white and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Crust will turn golden and filling should be boiling. Let rest for 15-20 minutes before removing from muffin tin. Take a knife to loosen the sides and carefully remove.
