Introduction

A Taste of Home recipe "FEATURED IN The Best Soup Recipes of 2019." I left out the 1/4 cup butter called for in the original recipe and substituted two 12 oz cans of Kirkland chicken instead of the 2 pounds shredded chicken breast called for to reduce the calorie count. Ingredients

    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 celery ribs, chopped
    1 cup shredded carrots
    2 cans shredded chicken, 12 oz. each
    12 tsp Knorr Chicken Flavor Bouillon
    12 cups Water
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    2 cups uncooked egg noodles (No Yolks)
    2 cans (14-3/4 ounces each) cream-style corn


Directions

Place first 8 ingredients in a Dutch oven; bring slowly to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, until vegetables are tender, about 30 minutes.
Stir in noodles, and corn. Cook, uncovered, until noodles are tender, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serving Size: makes 12 servings 1 1/3 cups each
