Introduction
like Starbucks, but made in the Instant Pot! like Starbucks, but made in the Instant Pot!Number of Servings: 14
Ingredients
-
400 gram(s) Egg - Egg Land's Best Organic Eggs (1 egg = 50 grams)
7 serving Bacon - Farmland Thick Sliced Bacon
12 oz Gouda Cheese
1 cup (not packed) Cottage Cheese, 2% Milkfat
4 fl oz Heavy Whipping Cream
0.125 tsp Morton Iodized Salt
.125 tsp Garlic powder
.25 tsp Onion powder
Tips
See above.
Directions
Cook bacon pieces as usual, drain on paper towels.
In a large deep bowl, mix eggs, cheeses, onion & garlic powder & salt, and cream with stick blender.
Spray a silicone mold (for mini-muffins or eggs) with vegetable spray, like Pam.
Line each egg cup with a piece of bacon. Pour in about 1/4 cup egg mixture into each cup.
Using a silicone lift or folded aluminum foil that extends beyond the Instant Pot, lower the silicone egg molds (stacked) into the pot. Using "Egg" setting, cook for 8 minutes. Allow too cool 10 minutes before releasing pressure.
Makes 14; you can add veggies of your choice, use ham, or turkey sausage, or other meat (or none). I prefer a naturally smoked Gouda cheese, but you could use cheddar, Swiss, or any hard/semi-hard cheese you like. They freeze well!
